Using Doomreader

Doomreader is free to use. You can read the free books in Discover and the books and articles you add yourself. Add only files you have the right to read. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in safe. We may suspend an account that abuses the service, for example by trying to get around limits or by overloading our servers.

Pro

• Pro is a subscription of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. In India it is charged in rupees, plus GST; everywhere else in US dollars. The price is shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Razorpay.
• Pro renews by itself at the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time on your account page. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and is not renewed after that.
• Payments for a period that has started are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
• When Pro ends, nothing you saved is deleted: sync and the Pro features stop, and what is on your devices stays there.

AI credits

• AI credits pay for asking a book, an article or your library, and for natural voices. Each use takes the number of credits shown in the app.
• Credits are sold in packs and bought once, not as a subscription. In India they are charged in rupees plus GST, everywhere else in US dollars.
• Each purchase is good for 12 months from the day you buy it. Credits not used by then expire. The oldest credits are used first.
• Credits are not refundable.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account. If a question or a paragraph fails on our side, its credits are given back.
• AI answers come from a machine and can be wrong. Check anything that matters.

Invoices and tax

Buyers in India get a GST invoice for their State; buyers elsewhere get an export invoice.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time (see Delete account). Deleting it ends Pro without a refund for the period that has started, and removes any credits left.

Changes and law

We may change these terms or our prices. A price change applies from your next renewal or purchase, and we say so in the app first. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
